Clean property

Turn on all lights including lamps

Turn off ceiling fans

Replace burned out bulbs

Turn off TVs/PCs

Open all blinds

Remove small rugs (bathrooms, kitchen) optional

Remove trash cans

Remove jackets, shoes, glasses, photos, medicine

Keep pets away during photoshoot, hide pets beds/dishes

Make sure any alarm systems are disabled

Remove shampoos, soap, loofas, etc

Exterior

Remove cars from driveways

General landscaping: mow grass, pick up branches, trim dead branches

Remove hoses

Put away all gardening tools

Put away/hide kids' toys

Pull trash cans into garage

Remove shoes from porch

Turn on water features

Straighten up deck furniture

Garage doors should be fully closed

All of the above should be completed at least 30 min before the appointment

If significant tree shadows fall on the house, it should be scheduled for an overcast day, as this is not a Photoshop fix and no edits should be requested

Bedroom/Living room

Make beds

Hide chargers, remotes

Clear nightstands

Remove valuable items

Remove laundry baskets

Clean under beds

Remove magazines

Fluff/arrange pillows

Organize/remove kids' toys

Kitchen

Clear counters of appliances such as coffee makers and toasters

Remove chargers

Empty sink

Remove all magnets on fridge

Remove notepads

Remove dish soap, sponges
